Position- Lead – Strategic Partnerships & Advisory Services

Location- Pune

Years - 3 to 5 years

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to lead our stakeholder engagement and advisory services vertical, with a focus on mobilizing and managing impact assessment and other advisory assignments. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as corporates, foundations, NGOs & other agencies, while also coordinating end-to-end execution of social impact projects—from RFPs and proposals to fieldwork oversight and report presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Partnerships & Networking

  • Identify and engage with Corporates, CSR foundations, NGOs & other agencies to generate leads and partnerships for impact assessments and advisory assignments.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their social impact goals.
  • Represent the organization in relevant forums, conferences, and CSR networks to position the company as a thought leader.

2. Proposal Development & Resource Mobilization

  • Scan for relevant RFPs, EoIs, and other work assignments from foundations and CSR partners.
  • Lead the development of technical and financial proposals in collaboration with thematic experts and consultants.
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements, clarify deliverables, and align expectations.

3. Project Coordination & Field Implementation

  • Coordinate with field teams, consultants, and domain experts to ensure timely and quality execution of assessment and advisory projects.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Support training and onboarding of field coordinators and survey teams, as needed.

4. Monitoring, Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Support in monitoring field progress, including reviewing data collection tools, sampling strategies, and implementation status.
  • Collaborate with research and data teams to analyze collected data and derive actionable insights.
  • Create impactful storytelling strategies to showcase success stories, case studies, and best practices.
  • Lead preparation of evaluation reports, presentations, and case studies for stakeholders.

5. Stakeholder Communication & Presentation

  • Present findings, reports, and impact stories to funders, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate impact in a compelling, data-driven manner using visual storytelling and evidence-backed narratives.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders for continuous improvement of services and offerings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, social research, or CSR advisory services.
  • Experience in proposal writing, business development, and donor reporting is essential.
  • Strong understanding of impact assessment frameworks, CSR regulations, and development sector dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across geographies.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in monitoring & evaluation (M&E) or data interpretation.

Additional Preferences:

  • Prior experience in liaising with CSR departments, foundations, or multilaterals.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and survey platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO).
  • Understanding of frameworks such as SDGs, OECD-DAC, or CSR impact measurement models.

Pramod Kulkarni

With over 40 years of experience in the social development sector, Pramod Kulkarni is a seasoned expert in NGO management, Impact assessment, and Institutional building. As the former CEO of Sevavardhini, he has mentored 200+ grassroots organizations across India, supporting them in compliance, fundraising, project implementation, and capacity building. 

Pramod specializes in NGO accreditation, due diligence, and customized training to enhance the efficiency of small and mid-sized organizations. His expertise spans CSR consulting, social impact assessment, and program documentation, helping NGOs and funding agencies align their initiatives with sustainable development goals. 

He has established strong collaborations with various CSR foundations, government departments, and funding agencies, playing a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing innovative grassroots projects. His partnerships include UNICEF, UNDP, ONGC, Atlas Copco Belgium & India, Persistent Foundation and Tata Capital.

A Certified CSR Professional (IICA, MoCA), he has led impactful projects in water conservation, renewable energy, livelihoods and women empowerment. His hands-on approach and deep sectoral insights enable organizations to scale their impact through data-driven decision-making and strategic partnerships.

Adinath Shirsat

With 11 years of experience in water resource management, irrigation, and agriculture development, Adinath has worked with leading organizations such as Watershed Organisation Trust, BAIF, CInI an initiative of Tata Trusts, Development Support Centre, and Yuva Mitra. His expertise spans integrated watershed management, soil and water conservation, agri-allied livelihoods, and GIS-based planning.

Adinath has worked with the 2030 Water Resources Group, a multi-donor trust managed by the World Bank, focussing on the canal digital agrifood ecosystem program.

His independent consultancy work includes ecological restoration with Raah Foundation, school sanitation project planning for ICICI Foundation, and water resource assessment and execution for United Way Bengaluru in Osmanabad, Latur, and Pune districts of Maharashtra under the Rural Rising and Environment Program. He also conducted a comprehensive impact assessment of 76 water bodies (Ex-Malgujari tanks) in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra for Tata Trusts to evaluate their sustainability and effectiveness.

He specializes in government and stakeholder engagement, and techno-managerial services, contributing to sustainable water and agricultural solutions for rural communities.

Sneha Shinde

Ms. Sneha is a sustainability and natural resource management expert with extensive experience in leading watershed and climate adaptation programs. As a Thematic Program Executive, Ms. Sneha Shinde has spearheaded Natural Resource Management initiatives which includes writing new proposals on Climate change adaptation, Water Resource development, Soil and Water conservation, Integrated approach proposals, providing inputs for the thematic role across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Satara(Maharashtra), developing technical strategies for Soil and Water conservation, Climate Change mitigation, and Resilience building.

With expertise in GIS-based monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment, she has contributed to data-driven decision-making for sustainable resource management. She has co-authored nationally recognized case studies on Climate Adaptation and contributed to UNDP publications. Additionally, she has managed CSR-backed sustainability projects with industry leaders like NABARD, TATA Capital, ITC, Schaeffler India, ACC limited, Adani Foundation, etc.

She has co-authored research on Climate adaptation pathways and Watershed sustainability, with key works featured in journals such as the International Journal of Sustainable Development and International Journal on Science and Research. Notable research includes studies on Watershed sustainability, Participatory water resource management and Climate-proofing adaptation pathways. Beyond research, Ms. Sneha plays a crucial role in designing and estimating Watershed structures and facilitating capacity-building sessions.

Suraj Kandharkar

His work empowers marginalized communities while delivering measurable business value through ; Strategic Impacts such as Corporate NGO Partnership, Resettlement and Rehabilitation Frameworks, Social Impact Assessment, and Sustainable Livelihood programs, CSR Design and Implementation. He holds Masters in Social Work.

As co-founder of Ankqur Ecosystem (CSIR -NEERI -backed sustainability start-up ), he leads initiatives on environmental sustainability, waste management, and pollution mitigation. He has also managed corporate relations and CSR programs at Lodha Group, Indiabulls Power, Avantha Power, IL&FS Environment and other organizations successfully implementing large-scale social development projects. He also conducted and drafted the Social Impact assessment report for the Greenfield National Highway project in Karnataka (NHAI) and conducted Human Rights Risk Assessment for Aarti Pharmalabs. 

He is an expert in data -related processes including data collection, analysis, utilization and dissemination. With extensive experience, he is skilled in designing and implementing effective data collection strategies. He formulated Policies for Indiabulls Power, designed R&R frameworks for Tata Power, Costal Gujarat Power Limited and World Bank -funded projects (MMRDA).

Rupali Ghate

Rupali is a dedicated Freelance Environment and CSR Consultant with over two decades of experience in project planning, policy analysis, environmental impact assessment, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Her area of expertise is in developing sustainable solutions through Research, Policy formulation and Project implementation. She has done M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Diploma in Human Resource Management.

She has been associated with renowned organizations like MSRDC, Godrej Agrovet, Mahindra United World College, GreenEarth Social Development Consulting Ltd, Think tanks and several NGOs contributing to policy development, Impact assessment, and Village development plans. Her research experience includes extensive work on Solid waste management, Sanitation, Energy policy and Sustainable urban planning. Additionally, she has authored publications on key environmental challenges and drafted reports, that significantly influence policy development. She is also actively engaged in documentation, data analysis, need assessments, baseline studies and impact evaluation. 

She is committed to promoting sustainable development by integrating research, policy development and strategic project implementation. Her work in the field of environment and CSR initiatives is aligned with the UN-SDGs to maximize impact and effectiveness. 

Prasann Thatte

Prasann Thatte is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in development management, specializing in Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation (M&E). Currently serving as Senior Advisor at PCI India, he plays a key role in the organization’s Senior Management Team. Since joining PCI in 2019, he has been leading M&E for the Jeevika Technical Support Program in Bihar, which aims to improve maternal and child health and nutrition outcomes by leveraging self-help groups for behavior change. He also provides M&E expertise across multiple states, including Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.

Before joining PCI, Prasann worked with prominent organizations including Nielsen, Save the Children, Aga Khan Foundation, and spent five years collaborating with the state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. He also led the M&E team at Reliance Foundation, overseeing large-scale rural transformation and agricultural programs.

Prasann holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) and is also a certified Social Auditor.

Meena Raghunathan

Ms. Raghunathan has 35 years’ experience in the development sector-first as part of Centre for Environment Education, an NGO which was a designated Centre of Excellence under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India; and next, starting up and heading CSR for the GMR Group, with a focus on Education, Health, Skill Training, and Livelihoods.  

She has significant experience at the senior-most levels in a corporate and has exposure and experience in corporate strategy, policy making etc. She chaired the Committee against Sexual Harassment of the GMR Group for several years, and was involved in supporting set-up of Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation, conceived as a PPP entity. She serves on Corporate as well as non-profit Boards.

Meena Raghunathan is a certified Social Auditor, and teaches courses at the post-graduate level on Sustainability, Responsibility, Ethics; Social Entrepreneurship, etc. Her interests include Governance, Sustainability and CSR.  

She has over 40 publications for children and teachers, including environmental textbooks for school and college levels. She has been part of the core team involved in the development of policy papers related to Environment, Sustainability and Education on behalf of Govt. of India., including India’s official submissions to United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), Rio de Janeiro, 1992, and World Summit on Sustainable Development, Johannesburg, 2002.  

Interests and work have been in institution building and setting up systems and processes. 

Sushil Bhagwat

Sushil is a Mechanical Engineer (BE) and holds a PGDM in Finance from the prestigious Sydenham Institute, Mumbai. With over 23 years of rich experience in Finance and Technology, he has been at the forefront of innovative digital transformation in the Home Loans domain at HDFC Bank. During his 11+ years in Transformation, he partnered with leading Fintechs and Technology firms, driving impactful collaborations. He has successfully managed large, diverse teams, seamlessly integrating traditional financial practices with advanced digital solutions.

Before venturing into Digital Transformation, he played a key role in credit underwriting for home loans, overseeing loan approvals for the Pune region at HDFC. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Operations team, gaining foundational experience. Prior to joining HDFC, he worked at Wipro Limited, where he contributed to the implementation of Six Sigma practices. 

Driven by his passion for the social sector, he has decided to contribute his expertise in Operations and Technology to strengthen the Development Sector Ecosystem. 

Somdutt Laad

He is currently serving as President & Trustee of Yuva Mitra, a Maharashtra based social development organization, focused on Water Resource Development,  Livelihoods, Institutional building,  Sustainable Agriculture, Health and Education. His leadership extends beyond the social sector, having spearheaded a family-owned construction business and worked as a Credit Underwriter at HDFC Ltd.

Somdutt Laad is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and social development leader with nearly two decades of experience spanning the social sector, real estate, and finance. His unique blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and grassroots expertise has enabled him to drive impactful change at scale.

Somdutt firmly believes that NGOs must scale up and replicate their initiatives to optimize resources, which can only be achieved through data-driven insights, technological support, and collaboration opportunities. This conviction drives Transunifyy’s mission to leverage data, technology & thematic expertise for impactful social change.

Somdutt holds a Chartered Accountant certification, a Master’s in Marketing Management, and a Bachelor’s in Commerce. His contributions to the sector have earned him the Excellence in Innovation Award, and he is certified in ESG Investing and Social Auditing.  With a deep commitment to sustainable social transformation, Somdutt continues to drive innovative solutions that empower organizations to scale their impact effectively.

Sonal Modi

Sonal Modi is an accomplished professional with over 40 years of experience at HDFC Limited, pioneers of the mortgage finance industry in India, having extensive experience and expertise in retail lending in areas of credit underwriting, business development, market expansion and outreach, management of sales channels, cross selling etc.

She has handled various responsibilities at HDFC across locations of Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Pune, which include growing the retail funding business, corporate and developer funding, deposit mobilisation, maintaining the quality of the loan portfolio, managing customer service and expectations, overseeing the internal audit function, handling new business initiatives at the corporate level.

Additionally, she has led multiple projects at the national level including the companywide System and Process Transformation Project. This project marked HDFC’s foray into digitisation of processes and evolved into the large-scale Digital Transformation Project involving initiatives in distribution / sales, customer onboarding and loan underwriting.

She has held Board positions at Savoir Trustee Limited (formerly known as HDFC Venture Trustee Company Limited), Friends of Women’s World Banking (FWWB) and has been a Trustee for HDFC Schools at Gurgaon and Pune. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at Poonawalla Fincorp Limited. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. She has also completed an Online Certification Program on Private Equity and Venture Capital from Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.

Arivazhagan R

Arivazhagan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from IIM Kolkata.  He joined HDFC in 1986 and  in 2022 he superannuated from HDFC Ltd as the Member of Executive Management , Chief Information officer, Chief Technology officer. 

He was also a member of the Risk Management committee of HDFC Ltd and member of Business Continuity Management committee and Head  of the Information Systems Security committee.

He was also responsible for Information technology of the group companies HDFC Asset management company and HDFC  sales Ltd. 

He was a core member of initial team setting of HDFC Life ltd and HDFC Egro General Insurance Company ltd. 

M V Ashok

M.V. Ashok is a distinguished Agribusiness Professional with over 37 years of experience in development banking, having served as Chief General Manager at NABARD. He has played a pivotal role in promoting Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and collective farming models, beginning with NABARD’s Farmers Club Scheme in 1985. Currently, he serves as Senior Adviser at BAIF Research and Development Foundation, Pune, Advisor at Reliance Foundation and mentors several Agri-tech startups.

A Post Graduate in Agriculture from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, he also holds qualifications in Agri-Business Management from Cornell University, USA, and Financing Micro Enterprises from the University of Reading, UK. His expertise spans rural finance, agribusiness, and agricultural marketing, with global exposure in countries like Thailand, Kenya, China, Germany, USA, Finland, and England.

As an author of Emerging Trends in Agricultural Marketing in India, Mr. Ashok brings invaluable insights into Agri-marketing, Rural finance, and FPO development. As an Impact Assesment-Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst, your role will be looking into the given below matters that would help us align with our goals at Transunifyy. 

1 Understanding the CSR Initiative & Objectives

• Dene the scope, goals, and expected outcomes of the program.
• Align with CSR regulations, SDGs, and ESG frameworks.
• Identify key stakeholders and target bene ciaries

2 Designing the Assessment Framework & Indicators

• Decide Assessment frameworks/Evaluation criterias (Theory of Change, Logical Framework approach, OCED-DAC criteria, SDG)
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and baseline benchmarks.
• Select quantitative & qualitative assessment methods

3 Team training & leveraging Data platform

• Providing training to project teams & Field staff on impact measurement tools, platform & methodologies for real-time data collection, visualisation & insights

4 Data Collection & Stakeholder Engagement

• Use surveys, FGDs (Focus Group Discussions), KIIs (Key Informant Interviews), and case studies.
• Capture on-ground bene ciary impact stories & challenges 

5 Data Analysis & Impact Measurement

 • Compare baseline vs. post-intervention data.
• Use statistical tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) for trend analysis.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness and Social Return on Investment (SROI)

6 Reporting, Insights & Strategic Recommendations

 • Develop detailed impact reports & dashboards with actionable insights
• Provide recommendations for program scale-up & optimization.
